Winter Walk

Winter walk.
My Blythe doll is happy taking a winter walk in her chef bear suit.

Bear.

I got her to stand in the snow!
I got her to stand perfectly in the show! I had to hurry up and take these pictures.

Untitled

Oh no! This is the part nobody shows when taking their Blythe photos.
Then she slowly tipped over!

Oops!
And totally bit it and got snow in her face!

Moonrise Kingdom Love

Moonrise Kingdom
Raoul and I are fans of Wes Anderson movies, and I know I don't talk very much about movies, but we did get to see Moonrise Kingdom with Raoul's sister Cynthia and our friend Jamie. We saw it when we went to Los Angeles for a weekend in July. It was great to see a movie in Hollywood! We went to see Moonrise at ArcLight movie theatre. What a great theatre! Anyways, Moonrise Kingdom was a fabulously cute movie - from the detail in the costumes and the colors used throughout - it is a fast favorite of mine. I also love this tribute to the film using Blythe!

Blythe Day

blythe and the unicorn box.
Here is an old photo of my very first Blythe doll. This is Hollywood Blythe, but I named her Noelle. I love her hair, and here she is posing with her pink eyes on top of a vintage trinket box that my friends gave to me. So cute. I love her outfit, too. She is wearing blue overalls that my pen pal in Seattle mailed to me. I love this outfit on her - I like how the colors look with her eyes.

Girl Scout 100

leaf collector.
Now I was not a Girl Scout, but my brother was a Cub Scout for a short while. I do love me some Thin Mints, too! But I was thrilled to hear the Girl Scouts 100 year anniversary was just last week. Look, even my Blythe doll, Noelle, is a better Girl Scout than me!

What a trail blazer she is!

I think she deserves another merit badge, don't you? Were you ever a Girl Scout or a Boy Scout?

My Weekend in Pictures

Mail from my pen pal!
A package and a Valentine from my pen pal in Seattle. I had no idea what could be inside...

Oh my gosh my pen pal mailed me Simply Vanilla Blythe!!!!
And then it was opened to reveal Simply Vanilla Blythe! WOW! I am thrilled and Vanilla is so pretty! Nilla loves Vanilla, too.

Yay for Vanilla!
What a surprise!

Nilla is watching.

Oreo and Jumbles love one another.

Cinnamon twist.

Daffodils.
Our flowers are blooming already. This is the earliest I ever remember our flowers blooming. I guess it is because we have had such a warm-ish winter lately.

Do You Like Re-ment?

re-ment sailor bear I got in Hong Kong.
Do you know what Re-ment is? Re-ment is miniatures of all sorts of things, especially food. It is sort of like dollhouse miniatures and each is a certain theme. I got the bear from a set I got in Hong Kong a few years ago. I really like that the cute bear is a sailor.

Tea time!

I love these!
I use these for my Blythe dolls. The Re-ment is a pretty good size for Blythe! I really like the detail in the teeny tiny cookies and biscuits.

My Re-ment photo studio
Here are some of the ones I have from my photo shoot. I found the most in Chicago at the Japanese mall, and I also found some in Hong Kong and China. They had so much at the convenience stores where you could pick up a bottled drink, candy, and Re-ment! it was really neat, but the next time I visited there I did not see so much Re-ment at the corner stores.

This was in my set of Re-ment.
Sometimes they come with funny inserts. I am not sure what this one reads, but the illustration is really silly.

French set of re-ment.
This is my favorite set! This set is called Natalie's French Goods. I do not have the full set, but I have a few. This one really has the best items, and they are really cute and Blythe really likes them, too!

From my favorite collection.

Cheese, please.
Oh my gosh! Tiny cheese! Adorable with a capital A!

Yummy!
Sometimes my miniature animals like to have some sweets, too. My friend Jordan gave me these mini animals. They are really neat and he had them when he was small.

Little Bit of Snow

We had a little bit of snow the other day, and I was up early enough before it melted away. I took my Blythe dolls outside for just a quick photo shoot. Here are our pictures.
Playing in the snow.

On the Santa goose.

Winter walk.

Dusting of snow.

We had some snow.
Gretel is wearing a froggie hat made by my friend Megumi who is called Sweet Honey Complex. She is also wearing a cute deer jumpsuit that my friend in Seattle sent to me. Isn't it so cute? Her boots came from the BHC in Hong Kong. Isobel has on a sweater I knitted and Re-Ment clothing. The shoes are from Gentle River. We love snow!

Christmas Past Memories: Beautiful Blythe

Merry Christmas! Blythe!
My Blythe dolls like to get in the Christmas spirit, too. Here they are celebrating on the fire place. Don't they look cozy?

Harmony Melodee Petunia is in her stocking.
Harmonie Melodie Petunia really likes Christmas. She was good this year, so I think she will get the pair of shoes she asked for.

Audrey Pumpkin ready for Christmas!
Audrey Pumpkin was very good this year, too. In fact, she was so good that she baked us cookies each day in December. We really like her. She gets an extra pressie from Santa.

Sadie is ready for the holidays!
Sadie, well, let's just say Sadie is no angel. I mean, look at her. She is a mess. Coal again, my poor dear.

Shout Out to Blythecon 2011

Isobel Creampuff models her frog hat.
I hope all the people attending Blythecon 2011 have a great time this weekend! We had a great time at Blythecon a few years ago, that I am a little sad to miss this one. It looks like it is going to be a good time!

Almost Spring

Mini daffodil love.
We are having a lovely spring day, but I took some pictures last weekend of my Blythe, Noelle. It was springy, but still a little chilly. We looked at our miniature daffodils, tulips, and crocus blooming in our front yard.

Playing in the Snow

Snow Day Blythe 0355
Harmonee Melodie Petunia, my Enchanted Petal Blythe went to play in the snow last week. She also called up her penguin friend, too. They had so much fun together!
